If you visit nft.greategypt.org, you would think you are back to the Renaissance age with Egyptian flavor. Ehab Hussein, the creator of Great Egypt's NFTs used Artificial Intelligence partly to come up with over 90 portraits depicted as the world's second collection of cultural heritage non-fungible tokens. NFTs mean unique items immortalized on a digital ledger called Blochchain. The artist chose the Algorand protocol to mint and power the Egyptian NFTs which, according to the website, aim to preserve and maintain culture and verify ownership. The step is not only limited to a new way of showcasing pictures, but also such portraits can be first introduced in this manner rather than the usual art galleries and auctions.
